The antigen test is suitable for an (additional) diagnosis of a coronavirus infection. The test results are for clinical reference and cannot serve only as a basis for confirming or ruling out infections. For the correct removal of a nasal swab, first bend the head slightly backwards. With an extremely thin cotton swab, a swab is taken very carefully at the back of the nose. This can itch for a while and cause a strange feeling. It's not painful. The smear goes into a tube with liquid. The collection material mixes with the liquid and is then dropped onto a test cassette. The result can be read after 15 minutes.

When the antigen test (AG) is taken together with the antibody test (IgM and IgG), this is the most opaque screening. This provides insight into whether there is an active infection, a starting infection or a declining infection. But also whether the body reacts to 'dangerous' signals from the environment.
